Annabel (Bel D)

Annabel Davis
Annabel Davis is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in visual arts, movement, sound and experimentation. Raised in a creative, community-focused environment filled with dance, discos, sport and artistic expression, she developed a deep connection to the arts and the body from an early age.

Annabel studied Visual Arts in Manchester, where she embraced a contemporary fine art approach that emphasized authenticity, philosophy, exploration, and meaningful conceptual development. During this time, she gravitated toward musical communities, finding inspiration in sound, rhythm, and collaboration. A pivotal encounter with a friend led her to the immersive event Bohemian Grove, a transformative experience that continues to influence her today.
Navigating personal hardships has only deepened her commitment to her practice. For Annabel, making art is not only a creative pursuit but a way of life — a grounding force, a source of healing, and a form of communication. Her methods and materials shift intuitively, guided by the themes she is processing, yet her work remains united by a sense of vulnerability and raw honesty that resonates.
Annabel is known for her fearless emotional openness, and her art invites viewers into a space where feeling and expression take center stage.

Annabel believes that an integral part of creativity lies in making use of what is available. She sees limitations not as obstacles, but as opportunities that can enhance the creative process. By experimenting with different methods and materials, problem-solving becomes a source of innovation, adding uniqueness to the final outcome.

Part of whats important to Annabel, is to give people the autonomy and freedom to interpret the work for themselves, this is why she rarely names a piece. It’s important that the viewer can take something from the art thats deeper than the aesthetics of it. She also encourages others to try and tap into their own creativity. Drawing with the left hand is a great way to connect to the creative spirit.

It’s Annabel’s mission to create art that is accessible. Therefore payments can be made in instalments.
