Co-founder behind the Manchester based platform and event series ‘Refractiøn’, resident of the London based ‘Structure’. Liam Dutton aka ‘DUTS’ has a background orchestrating community-focused events within the underground scene in the UK and abroad. Now Liverpool based, he is exploring new creative outlets within a city with a such a rich musical cultural heritage.

DUTS as a DJ and artist draws sounds from a broad palette with a foundational deep and encapsulating journey-like experience at its core, producing a sonic experience that transcends genres. He attracts inspiration from a myriad of musical influences including, but not limited to; hypnotic dub, stripped-back minimal grooves, ethereal ambience, and soul-stirring melodies – all echoing throughout his DJ sets.

Expect a wide range of electronica in the form of more traditional 4×4 genres like techno, house, breaks and D&B – to more nuanced experimental sounds with genre bending crossovers, tempo ranges and blends, anything goes.
