Richard Sinclair is the Swansea-based musician and composer behind Murmurs of Earth, creating original electronic music that blends melodic synth-pop, cinematic electronica and ambient textures with a modern production style.
Originally conceived as a recording project, Murmurs of Earth has evolved into a distinctive live instrumental performance, with Richard performing selected Murmurs of Earth tracks alongside original solo compositions on synthesizers over specially programmed backing arrangements.
Influenced by pioneers such as John Foxx, Ultravox and Gary Numan, Richard’s music looks firmly forward rather than back, combining expressive melodies, immersive soundscapes and contemporary electronic production. Each performance is designed to take audiences on an atmospheric musical journey where emotion, texture and melody are at the heart of the experience.
