I am Andy Marshall, also known in the electronica world as AM Frequencies. I am a classically trained violinist who plays 1st violin with Slaithwaite Philharmonic Orchestra, and drummer of post- rock band Made of Regret; music is my LIFE outside of work as a software engineer. I got into modular synthesis just before lockdown, and what was going to be a small rack got a lot bigger, as this hobby turned more into an obsession! Since doing my first modular gig at Birmingham Modular Organisation in September 2022 I have played more EMOM nights than I can remember, and have had good feedback about my sets. My style is very ambient/IDM with a donk on it, usually. I have some recordings on amfreq.bandcamp.com, I have played Ty Pawb once before and cannot wait for a return visit!
